Fortunate are those who are blessed to have met such a Perfect Spiritual Mentor who has not just enlightened their life, but also has given them a source to reach the higher goal of human life! Thus, to celebrate the greatest day of reverence for the Divine Master- Shri Guru Purnima, the devotees gathered under the roof of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) at Divya Dham Ashram, Delhi, on 17th July, 2022, with their hearts and eyes full of devotion and reverential emotions for the Holy Gurudev. Devotees in large numbers gathered at the venue to celebrate the day and express their love and gratitude towards Gurudev. The devotional songs sung by disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head, DJJS) soaked everyone in the ocean of devotion. Everyone participated in the Mangal Aarti with Pujan and could be seen drenched within and outside in the divine inspirations of Gurudev. Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Parma Bharti Ji, and Swami Adityanand Ji, Preacher Disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji presented beautiful spiritual discourses at the program.
The orators enlightened the devotees about the divine-faithful-selfless bond of Guru and Disciple. While the disciple wants to submit himself completely in the feet of Gurudev, the Master also wants to give away all his spiritual treasure to the disciple. The world has witnessed this very special bond time and again with Hanuman and Shri Rama, Arjuna and Shri Krishna, Vivekananda and Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, etc. The discoursers gave various examples from scriptures about this divine bond. However, a disciple can achieve the gems of spirituality only when he fulfills the commands of his Master, who guides and protects him on his spiritual journey to reach the Divine and achieve salvation. The Preacher Disciples also highlighted innumerable benefits of meditation, both on spiritual and social fronts. They aptly quoted that meditation on Divine Light makes a person wise and strong to deal with the challenging situations of life. The devotees indeed realised that they are blessed to have such a Perfect Spiritual Mentor in their life – Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, who has bestowed upon them “Brahm Gyan” (direct realisation of God within).
A beautiful play was presented on the exemplary life of Bharat, Lord Shri Rama’s brother. During the time of Shri Rama’s exile to forest, Bharat ruled Ayodhya not as its ruler, but as Rama’s representative. He placed Rama’s sandals on the royal throne, and neither sat upon the throne nor crowned himself. He ruled, but as a saint, or, rather, as a saint-ruler in the true sense. He strengthened borders, increased the expanse of the kingdom, and multiplied state treasury. Simultaneously, all the time he yearned for Rama’s presence and remained deeply immersed in devotion. Thus, he not just looked after Ayodhya, but also reached new spiritual heights. On Rama’s return to Ayodhya after His fourteen years’ exile, Bharat not only returned to him His entire state that he was entrusted with, but also returned the state treasury, stores, house and army, which were ten times to what he was given.
The present era is privileged to have Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji who is a Perfect Spiritual Mentor of the time. To save the dying humanity, he has made the rare science of Brahm Gyan easily accessible to masses. In the times to come, the world will surely witness the accomplishment of his divine vision of “World Peace” through the eternal science of Brahm Gyan, uprooting in its wake all social evils and threats.
It proved to be yet another important day in the life of disciples and gifted each one the treasure of Guru Bhakti, determination and enthusiasm. The divine aura illuminated each one and touched the core of hearts of the people. The program once again proved to be a booster for the disciples.
