Kansa’s sister Devaki was married to King Vasudev. Soon after the wedding, Kansa heard the celestial voice from the sky (ashiravani) that his sister’s eighth son will grow up to kill him. A worried Kansa immediately imprisoned his sister and brother-in-law and kept them under continuous watch and vigil. Years rolled by and Devaki’s seven children were killed by Kansa, and the prophesized child, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu as Krishna, not only escaped death at the hands of Kansa, but eventually proved to be his annihilator. The series of divine events right from the birth of Krishna make one thing clear. Live your life under the protective umbrella of the enlightened, divine soul who has the power to secure you and guide you to tread the path leading to bliss.

Shri Krishan Katha at Dhilwan, Punjab

Sadhvi Sumedha Bharti Ji, ably assisted by other preacher disciples of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji,   substantiated the factual assertions with several divine incidents related to Lord Krishna’s life and how they were intricately woven with the progression of spiritual life of his devotees.  The occasion was the holy program of Shri Krishna Katha at Dhilwan, Punjab from 5th to 9th October 2016 at the artfully decorated premises that was packed with the capacity audience.  The learned Sadhvi began the Katha with the narration of divine incidents related to Lord Krishna’s birth. The divinity and ambience of Katha was further augmented with melodious and meaningful devotional songs related to the events leading to Lord Krishna’s birth and the subsequent happenings, which kept the audience delightfully spellbound.

The incarnation of Lord Krishna was for the noble cause to liberate humankind from the wicked deeds of Kamsa, who launched his princely career by putting his father Ugrasena in the prison to become the King himself. Negativities had engulfed the ruling class and other demonic powers caused agony to the common people. The awesome physical and divine powers became evident when Lord Krishna lifted the Goverdhan Mountain (at Dist. Mathura) and held it on with his little finger to protect the people of Vrindavan from the fury of torrential rains caused by the angry Lord Indra. Perhaps one of the biggest events to challenge wickedness on this Planet Earth by Lord Krishna was the annihilation of Kamsa.

Shri Krishan Katha at Dhilwan, Punjab

Lord Krishna was an incarnated divine soul. As such the soul-force unleashed by Him for the good of the humankind was amazing. Some of the individuals who benefited by enlightenment of His divine grace were His trusted friend Sudama, Arjuna for whose sake the Lord became the charioteer in the Kurukshetra battlefield and Draupadi, whose honor was protected  under grim circumstances she faced at the hands of Duryodana and in the presence of other Kaurava veterans. Enlightened souls are like the dependable oar with which the boatman is able to navigate the boat in the turbulent ocean-waters. The boatman provides the direction and destination to the journey with that oar.   So is the case with the Perfect Master (The Enlightened Soul). The learned Sadhvi eulogized the spiritual glory of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, the Founder and Head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, whose benign grace and guidance will lead the spiritual aspirants though the correct path to realize the state of enlightenment.

In conclusion, the learned Sadhvi thanked the audience for their patience and enthusiasm in sharing the divine experiences throughout the Katha period of 5 days. She urged them to get blessed with Brahm Gyan, and join the mainstream of millions of devotees of Maharaj Ji.
