Story telling is an art but just reciting them is not enough. Thousands of devotees gathered to listen to the divine acts of little Krishna and true meaning behinds his divine acts. A five day Shri Krishna Katha program was organized by the socio-spiritual organization Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (Founded and headed by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji) with the profound aim of ‘World Peace’. Katha spanned from 10th to 14th August 2017 with the message of how to develop love and devotion towards God.
Katha was filled with colours of devotion, laughter, tales of separation and union with almighty. Sadhvi Rupeshwari Bharti Ji, preacher disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, was the orator of the event. Many high profile dignitaries graced the occasion. The eminent guests were Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma (MP, J&K), Mrs. Priya Sathi (Minister of State for Education and Culture), Mr. Vikram Singh Randhawa (MLC, J&K), Mr. Yudvir Sathi (BJP State Vice President, J&K), Mr. Sham Mehra (BJYM Distt Youth President, Nowshera) and Adocate Gurdev Singh Thakur (BJYM State Vice President, J&K).
Sadhvi Ji initiated the Katha by explaining the major purpose of incarnation of Lord and how he bestows his devotees with enlightening knowledge. She explained deep spiritual meaning behind every little deeds of Krishna like killing Putna, Aghasur, Bakasur and other daemons. These deeds represent winning over inner demons. Message behind stealing butter from little gopis represents stealing hearts of devotees and purifying them. Govardhan pooja reflects end of superstitious believes and addressing only one god. ‘Kalia dahan’ conveys that we should continuously work on ourselves no matter how difficult situations get. Rasleela depicted the story of union of soul with super soul and how divine love is. Killing Kansa and bringing justice shows that truth always wins.
She reiterated that all these deeds can be fathomed only when one is initiated into ‘Brahm Gyan’. It is this power of divine knowledge that connects oneself with the Supreme. Once a devotee is on the path of meditation, he/she can unearth the secrets of Lord Krishna’s divine acts. Sadhvi Ji explained that this Brahm Gyan can be provided only by a perfect master which is Ashutosh Maharaj Ji in the current era. After self-realization only, path to ‘World peace’ becomes a reality and then we can establish Lord Krishna within.
