To exemplify the teachings of Lord Krishna as contained in our ancient scriptures, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan presented a seven-day devotional saga of Shri Krishna Katha from 24th to 30th April 2022. The spiritual event was webcasted through the official YouTube Channel of DJJS. The Katha orator and disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head DJJS), Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji gracefully acquainted the spiritual devotees with the theology and propositions of Shri Krishna embedded in scriptures. The event was also enriched with chanting of holy hymns & bhajans. The webcast invigorated thousands of devotees and disciples across the globe who virtually attended the devotional retreat.
Sadhvi Ji expounded that all the divine Leela’s by the Lord since his birth carries a deep mystical significance. So, through her narration, she deciphered the deep-rooted significance of various anecdotes from Krishna’s childhood and youth. An enthralling musical composition glorifying Shri Krishna’s descent on this Earth captivated the viewers. She further highlighted the diverse aspects of Krishna Bhakti imbued in the life of Krishna’s ardent devotees- Purandardasa, Janabai, Narsi Mehta, Draupadi, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and King Mayurdhwaj to name a few.
Sadhvi Ji fervently explained that the aim of life as per Shri Krishna is to cleanse our inner- selves by practicing the divine knowledge of ‘Brahm Gyan’. This Supreme Science is a pre-requisite for inner transformation and to accomplish Krishna’s vision of Universal Brotherhood. Spiritual awakening leads to a perfect equilibrium of body, mind, and spirit and is the key to self-growth and self-awareness.
Sadhvi Ji concluded that the doctrines of Lord Krishna are the guiding principles for leading a perfect life. To achieve inner peace and salvation and to overpower the negativities of the wandering mind, there is a need to experience the divine truth. This was well demonstrated by the Lord himself when He blessed Arjuna with the Divine Eye. Only a Perfect Master can teach the divine technique of union with Lord Krishna by instilling the cosmic knowledge of Eternal-Self into the hearts of the knowledge-seeking souls. Inner awakening enlightens the spiritually famished souls and enables them to tread the righteous path. Regular intensive meditation facilitates deeper introspection and enhances spiritual wealth.
The followers and spiritual enthusiasts attending Krishna Katha were enthralled by the soulful bhajans and mystic leelas imparted from Lord’s life. At the end of the event, the devotees, in a meditative pose, collectively prayed for human welfare and world peace.
