Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), with the divine blessings of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder and Head, DJJS), held a beautiful five-day Shri Krishna Katha at Kailash Nagar Chowk, Near Shivpuri, G.T. Road, Ludhiana, Punjab, from 24th to 28th August 2022. The soulful devotional songs and spiritually uplifting narration by the Katha orator Sadhvi Tripada Bharti Ji (preacher disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji) garnered a huge audience.
Sadhvi Ji narrated various incidents from the life of Shri Krishna and unveiled their deep spiritual meanings. She elucidated the most beneficial course of action one must take for holistic growth. She quoted the example of Arjuna’s choice in this matter. She asked the audience the reason for Arjuna and the rest of the Pandavas’ victory against the Kauravas. She highlighted the fact that, before the war of the Mahabharata, Shri Krishna gave Arjuna and Duryodhana a choice. He asked them to choose either him or his army. Duryodhana chose Shri Krishna’s army, while Arjuna chose Shri Krishna. This may seem a small choice in comparison to the vast army of Shri Krishna. However, Arjuna still won. The reason is that Shri Krishna was no ordinary being. He was enlightened. He had the divine knowledge called Brahm Gyan. It was with this knowledge that he enlightened Arjuna too. The divine guidance of Shri Krishna was the only reason that helped Pandavas win the Mahabharata war. The Pandavas with Shri Krishna’s advice took actions that were beneficial not just for them but for the entire society too.
She further explained that the divine knowledge that Shri Krishna bestowed upon Arjuna is attainable even today. The precondition for that is the presence of a true spiritual teacher i.e., Guru. Only a perfect Guru can open our third eye and connect us with the universal consciousness. A Guru alone can help us make spiritual growth through his divine guidance, for he has reached the spiritual summit and has the power to initiate the same in others. A Guru is not an ordinary human being. He is in constant union with the divine. Through the grace of such a Guru, one can transform the inner self and make the world peaceful.
Sadhvi Ji, bringing the Katha to a close, requested the present audience not to chase transient things. Instead, search for a true Guru who makes life divine in every respect. In their search, the doors of DJJS will always remain open for everyone. She invited everyone to begin the spiritual journey at the earliest.
