Every man hopes for happiness, and for this he blindly rushes to have more and more of materialistic things in the world. Whenever he encounters obstacles in fulfillment of his desires, he becomes angry and thereby panics. But, here it needs to be noted that materialistic things creates short lived pleasure but the real happiness prevails in our mind. An ideal way of living would be rather to become 'conscious about the Self', which is ever-luminous; for, it alone is our “true identity”.
To introduce this true identity to people of Amritsar, Punjab, Shri Krishan Katha was organized by DJJS from 17th to 21st August, 2019. The ambience was purified and fragrance of peace and harmony was palpable. Some of the eminent guests at the event were Sh. Gurjit Singh Aujla (MP ASR), Dr. Rajkumar Verka (Cabinet Rank Punjab Govt.), Smt. Luxmi Kant Chawla (X-Cabinet Minister), Sh. Karamjit Singh Mintu (Mayor ASR), Sh. Sunil Dutti (MLA North ASR), Sh. Raman Bakshi (Senior Deputy Mayor ASR), Sh. Dinesh Bassi (Chairman Improvement Trust ASR), Sh. Ram Gopal (Kshteriyea Parmukh Dharam Jagran), Sh. Akshay (Vibhag Pracharak ASR) and Smt. Mamta Dutta (Chairman Khadi Board PB) .
Sadhvi Saumaya Bharti Ji, Preacher Disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder–DJJS) delivered profound message hidden in these divine plays of Shri Krishna. Shri Krishna is the Absolute Truth and the primeval cause of all causes of the creation, sustenance and destruction of the manifested universes. He is directly and indirectly conscious of all manifestations. Shri Krishna, who is eternally existent in the transcendental abode, is forever free from the illusory representations of the material world. One should comprehend the purpose of the Lord’s superlative Krishna avatar and walk the path of Bhakti, to find True knowledge and savour Divine Bliss. Shri Krishna performed the task of imparting prudence/wisdom in the moments of frailty to everyone who gave priority to HIM alone.
The orator beautifully touched every stage of Shri Krishna’s life elaborating on His role as a spiritual Guru and divine knowledge (Brahm Gyan) he bestowed on Arjuna amidst the chaos of battlefield. For today’s human being also, each day is a battle field, whether it is work, home, travelling on roads etc. and so a spiritual intervention is much more needed. Sadhvi Ji explained that Dharma is not confined to sacred practices, worships and visits to places of worship. Rather it is practical realization of the supreme within, which is only possible with the grace of a Guru. With the axe of Divine knowledge (imparted by Guru) sharpened by the one-pointed devotion acquired by the service and worship of a true Guru, one can steadily cut all the vices and negativities.
Masses were mesmerized and awed by the deep spiritual meanings. Not a single soul left untouched with divine grace and love of Lord Krishna.
