Under the divine grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder and Head, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan), five-day Shri Krishna Katha was organized at Sri Kameshwar Mandir, Near Bharat Mata Park, 1A, South Ext., Trikuta Nagar, Jammu from 12th to 16th August, 2022. The Katha enthralled the audience in large numbers with soul-nourishing melodious devotional songs and enigmatic lectures.
Sadhvi Jayanti Bharti Ji, the orator of Katha said that today we worship Shri Krishna as the Lord who incarnated for the benefit of humankind. But, did everyone know his divine nature during his time on earth? Did those who saw Shri Krishna, accept him as Lord? The answer is - not all the people did. Take for example Shri Krishna's maternal uncle Kansa. Many supernatural indications conveyed to Kansa the impending divine birth of the Lord. However, instead of accepting it as a blessing, Kansa did everything to stop the inevitable. His ignorance made him arrogant. Due to which he could not know the real form of Lord Krishna.
Sadhvi ji gave another example of how Duryodhana also missed his welfare due to ignorance. Duryodhana, in his arrogance did not make peace with his cousin brothers, the Pandavas. On the contrary, he attempted to kill them at every possible opportunity. Finally, he even tried to imprison Lord Krishna when the latter came to his court as the peace ambassador of the Pandavas to avert the war of Mahabharata.
Both Kansa and Duryodhana saw Shri Krishna, and knew about his divinity, but did not understand him and, hence, never accepted him. On the other hand, Arjuna, Draupadi, Gopa and Gopikas along with many others worshipped Shri Krishna. Why did they do so? The reason is that they weren't ignorant but rather enlightened. They were connected to the divine through the supreme knowledge of Brahm Gyan.
Sadhvi Ji asked if today Lord Shri Krishna incarnates again, will we be able to know? Yes, we can do this only if we have been initiated into the supreme science of Brahm Gyan by the grace of a true Spiritual Mentor. An enlightened spiritual teacher alone can connect us with the divine, for he has walked the spiritual path. All the scriptures substantiate that attainment of divine knowledge is not possible without Guru's blessings, and in the absence of divine knowledge, we cannot make spiritual progress or understand a divine incarnation.
Sadhvi Ji concluded the Katha by urging the audience to attain Brahm Gyan from a true Guru. She also claimed that in Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, the test of perfect Spiritual Mentor has always been fulfilled and will continue to be so.
