Shri Krishna Katha reverberated the Divine Vibes of Liberation in Pathankot, Punjab

The Krishna Katha acted at two levels – Inner purification of individual being and catapults the need of transformation of the society. Splendid stages, customary worship and peace-marches were the highlights of the event. The peace marches were organized to spread the divine vibes of love and brotherhood across the streets. Colourful Kalash Yatra was also taken out a day before the katha. A huge congregation of Katha-lovers participated in the nectar of narrations. Preacher disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji gave lucid descriptions of the verses very lyrically and artistically.

Sadhvi Saumya Bharti Ji through her orations included many stories from the life and pastimes of complete incarnation of Lord Krishna. The intense and personal Bhakti described during the orations is directed toward Krishna as Vishnu in the human form. It included the most comprehensive collection of stories about the life of Krishna, showing him in all the stages and conditions of human life. The Katha was not merely storytelling but was an oration of profound veiled meaning of it which can’t be understood by a human being unless told by a perfect master. Sadhvi Ji, under the tutelage of perfect master of today, HIS holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji did just that.

Shri Krishna Katha reverberated the Divine Vibes of Liberation in Pathankot, Punjab

She explained thoroughly the true meaning of Bhakti, how to practice Bhakti, an analysis and descriptions of the different types of Bhakti. The Katha held out the possibility of salvation through devotion (Bhakti) regardless of caste or social status. True Bhakti is possible only when a human being surrenders himself/herself in the feet of a perfect master and attains the knowledge of Brahm Gyan. Only then, one can know the goal and target of his/her life.

The Katha also gave a tremendous insight, a profound vision, and an entirely new perspective to the person who heard the narrative. On hearing, a person is never the same. There is a complete metamorphosis, a complete transformation, literally a new birth of Atman (soul) which is by its own nature supreme, cannot be bound and free from all bondages. Whatever bondages felt were sheer illusions of the mind. Shri Krishna Katha provided that light which enabled Jeeva (human being) to experience the wonderful freedom of liberation.

The Katha explained human life very clearly that the goal of the life is to tread the path which leads to the ultimate liberation of the soul. It is therefore an important guide for the conduct of human beings in all their affairs.
