Such is the immense power of our Lord. He knows what is good for his child and even before we realize he is there to fulfill all our wishes. But the Lord never fulfills any such wish which may be harmful for us. Such divine actions of Lord are presented to the masses through regular sessions. One such event was held at Sultanpur Lodhi in Punjab. The five-day Krishna day was held from 22nd to 26th May 2018. The orator of this pious Katha was Sadhvi Saumya Bharti Ji, a devotee disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.

Kalash yatra marked the beginning of the Katha with hundreds of women carrying Mangal Kalash on their heads while chanting Vedic mantras. Kalash yatra is considered an auspicious way to start any event. Each day the event started and ended with prayers in lotus feet of Lord Krishna. Sadhvi Ji described the childhood anecdotes of Lord Krishna. Every action of Lord carries a deep message for the masses. She mentioned the meeting of Sudama with Lord Krishna. Sudama was the childhood friend of Lord with whom he spent his gurukul days. When Sudama came to meet Lord on his wife’s urging with a motive of asking for some help, Lord Krishna received him with such warmth. Sudama carried some rice with him as a gift to Lord Krishna which he hesitated in presenting to the lord. But our Lord ate those rice with so much excitement. Sadhvi Ji explained that the Lord does not care about the cost of any offering. All that matters to him is the feelings and devotion with which we present the offering to him. Sudama was not able to ask for anything from his Lord due to his hesitation. But when he reached back home, he found that even though he did not say anything to his Lord, his Lord still knew everything within his conscious. Lord Krishna had fulfilled all his wishes even without him asking for anything. Such is the divinity of our Lord. Sadhvi Ji mentioned many such instances that described the caring nature of the Lord and his divinity.

Sadhvi Saumya Bharti Ji reverberated the message of Brahm Gyan “The Science of Eternal Knowledge” within the masses as the means of being one with the Lord. She explained the importance of Brahm Gyan in our life. Music by devotee trained musicians created a mesmerizing aura. The perfect combination of Katha and music held the audience spellbound. The number of audience increased with each passing day. The Katha ended with a Hawan witnessing a large crowd, hence marking it as a huge success.
