Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) which is working under the divine guidance of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head – DJJS) organized a unique spiritual event of Shri Ram Katha at Ludhiana, Punjab from 14th December to 18th December, 2016. The programme was witnessed by a number of devotees who arrived to quench their thirst of peace and spirituality.
The Katha was especially dedicated to one of DJJS’s social welfare initiative, “Project Antardrishti” which is engaged in transforming differently able people to make them self-reliant. The founder and mentor of DJJS, Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, is working to bring them into the mainstream society with dignity by providing them with a sound spiritual foundation, vocational, extra-curricular skills, employment opportunities and holistic growth.
The Katha Orator Sadhvi Shachi Bharti Ji, disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, gloriously elaborated the entire Katha. She stated that for supreme sacrifices, and many other qualities, Rama is considered a maryada purushottama or the best of upholders of Dharma, God in the form of an exemplary human. Describing the kingdom of Lord Rama, she said that, once such a kingdom existed on earth when Shri Rama, the supreme personality of godhead himself ruled the entire earth as a virtuous ideal king. Always attentive and accessible to his people, Lord Rama is the best example of perfect character and human conduct, inspiring human beings for countless succeeding ages.
Lord Rama’s legacy still rules the hearts of Indian people and inspires politicians of the world. Shri Rama has been a role model for everyone be it a common man or even a king or ruling class of some state. The audience was full of divine emotions and the mesmerizing bhajans and background music caught the fancy of all the viewers.
Sadhvi Ji reiterated that Ram Katha is not merely a story of Lord Ram; rather it is a guiding light for the entire mankind. Through selfless work, love of God grows in heart. God can be seen through inner awakening. Then through the grace of a perfect spiritual mentor, one can realize God. The same inner awakening is provided by today’s perfect master “Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji” in the form of ‘Brahm Gyan’. By realizing oneself, one can have the balance of materialistic and spiritual goals, thereby living a contended and peaceful life.
On the whole, the Katha proved to be a powerful medium of familiarizing the masses with the dire need to transform by practicing Brahm Gyan.
