Lord Ram is the one who is all powerful, most beautiful and bestows all kinds of favours on humankind without any reason, the one who comes to live with us and teaches us the art of living and worthy of all our worship. Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organized a marvelous Ram Katha in Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) from Nov. 9 to Nov. 15 to spread the message of love and peace. DJJS, under the guidance of its mentor His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, is working tirelessly to bring the ‘World peace’ into today’s chaotic world where everyone is astray and living a life without knowing their true purpose.
Large numbers of devotees were gathered to hear out the divine message reciprocated by Katha Orator Sadhvi Jayanti Bharti Ji, preacher disciple of Shri Maharaj Ji. Some of the eminent chief guests were Sh. Jugal Kishore Sharma (MP, Jammu), Shri Chander Parkash Ganga (Cabinet Minister: Industries and Commerce, J&K Govt.), Shri Ashok Kaul (State Gen. Sectary BJP), Sh. Kavinder Gupta ( Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly), Dr. Manohar Lal (Ex. Minister, J&K Govt.), Sh. Gulchain Singh Charak (Ex. Minister, J&K), Shri Balkrishan Vanotra (SDM Samba), Rakesh Gupta ( President, Chamber of Commerce), Sh. Baldev Singh (BJP Dist. President, Jammu) and Sh. Kulbhushan Malhotra (President of trade & industrial cell, BJP).
In every era, God incarnates himself to show the path of righteousness and salvation. Through Ram Katha, attendees realized the importance of maintaining good behavior and relations, leading to peaceful society. Various references were made from the life of Shri Hanuman and Lakshman Ji to aware people of their responsibilities towards themselves, their religion and society. Sadhvi Ji told monsters like Tarka, Sursa, Simhika, Ravan, Kumbkaran, Meghnath represents our enemies on the path of salvation like greed, lust, envy, attachment, laziness. Katha showed the way to end these monsters.
Sadhvi Ji explained that gathering information or just listening is not enough to attain the path of self-realization. Practical experience of the divine is required which is possible only through Brahm Gyan. It is an eternal technique through which one can practically experience and realize God. When a person gets initiated into Brahm Gyan, he is equipped with the art of practically perceiving the light of his inner world and his conscience is kindled. This results in the total transformation of his mindset because through the eye of soul, one gets the wisdom to choose the right and good in life and shun negativities.
A human can never win in life, or achieve true happiness without being in the company of God. And best way to realize God is though Guru. The word ‘guru’ is comprised of the roots ‘gu’ and ‘ru’. ‘gu’ implies darkness and ‘ru’ stands for light. So, the one who can take us from darkness to light, meaning the one who can show us divine light within, dispelling the darkness of ignorance is a True Guru.
The Katha was an open invitation to establish Ram and Ayodhya within so that Ram Rajya can flourish once again.
