“Mission of life should be to vanquish the demoniac tendencies in our heart”. Being a part of this existing materialistic world, we dream to achieve lot of materialistic things in life every moment which not only leads to the continuous pressure and the stress outside but also take away the inner strength, mental peace and the decisive power. Amidst this chaos, the real purpose of life is lost and not even known to humanity. This is where Ramayana, the holy scripture comes to our rescue which contains lots of learning which are relevant for every era. Just the way Lord Rama had to serve the exile to kill the demons, similarly we all have to banish these materialistic things to serve the real purpose of life.
In order to connect the masses with the sole purpose of life through the Inner- Awakening and the awareness towards Self- consciousness, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), conducted a five-day program of Shri Ram Katha from 12th to 16th June 2019 at Samana, Punjab. Sadhvi Shachi Bharti Ji, preacher of DJJS, was the spiritual orator of the Katha who showered life transforming lessons that just left the audience awestruck knowing the power of spirituality.
With the divine grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Shri Ram Katha started with Kalash Yatra spreading God’s message of global peace with self-awakening. The event commenced with the holy prayer at the lotus feet of Lord Ram. Sadhvi Ji explained that while striving on the path of righteousness, people will chastise, criticize and ridicule us; but we should have the willingness to tolerate and be patient. Lord Ram has showed how to give up one’s desires and serve society by his actions and not by uttering a single word. It is the test for every seeker who is on the path of spirituality as Maharaj Ji often says it takes time for others to accept the reality but eventually it will happen. So lot of patience and perseverance is required to tread on the path of righteousness just the way Lord Ram personified.
Sadhvi Ji further explained that in order to develop these traits, there are few prerequisites. First and Foremost is acquiring divine knowledge (Brahm Gyan) from the perfect master as only then one can connect with self and the Lord. Upon constant meditation and selfless service, one develops devotion and total surrender. This process has to be followed with every breath where devotee prays to his Lord so that he/she can follow the path without fail.
Masses were overwhelmed with the efforts of selfless volunteers and grasped the message of Divine Knowledge which connects them to their soul’s sole purpose. Audience was grateful to the organizers and amazed to know about the social initiatives of Sansthan and the programs on spiritual discourses. Event was a huge success as lots of people took Brahm Gyan and promised to participate in social initiatives so that world can be more peaceful and a better place to live in.
