By the mere saying of ‘Shri Ram’, a persona of calm, composed and high virtue comes to our mind. This fills our heart with compassion, love and humanity but at times, it also raises queries in our mind. Why Lord Rama, being a Lord, did certain tasks which seem anti-human and not in consistence with the image of his persona? To answer all these queries and to acquaint people with the real ‘Shri Rama’, a 5 days event ‘Ram Katha’ was organised in Ludhiana, Punjab from 15th to 19th Feb. 2016.
The event was organized by the divine Grace of HIS Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Founder and Head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS). The orator of the Katha was Sadhvi Jayanti Bharti Ji, disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. DJJS organizes various spiritual events to unearth the deep meaning hidden in our holy scriptures since these scriptures are not mere stories. The preacher enthralled the audience with the divine chronicle of Lord Rama.
If we analyze Rama’s life objectively, it is all about adherence to dharma despite various impediments and challenges. From renouncing the throne to live in exile and then to flight with Ravana to save his wife, the life was not bed of roses. In both the circumstances, purpose was to keep the honour of words of father and woman respectively. As the incarnation of “Lord Vishnu”, Shri Rama chose to impersonate the good deeds and gave the message to the humanity that path will be full of struggle and pain.
At every step, the preacher explained the Lord Rama’s life events’ relevance in contemporary times. His every endeavour reminds the man of modern age, that although the path of truth is tough, nevertheless, “Truth alone triumphs”. Today’s man is entangled in plethora of crisis, be it professional resentment, personal antagonism or ethical dilemmas. To untangle himself from the clutters of his own making, a person needs to imbibe the ideals of Lord Rama. All these deep secrets can be understood only when one has the divine vision and DJJS is providing tirelessly the scientific knowledge of ‘Brahm Gyan’ to the masses.
The audience were totally mesmerized by the vivid narrations and enchanting, soulful bhajans. They were also benefited from many stalls and counters which educated them to the wide range of social initiatives carried out by DJJS. In the end, many registered themselves to attain the invaluable science of “Brahma Gyan” to enrich their life spiritually in order to tread the path of righteousness, the only technique to understand ‘Lord Rama’ in its entirety.
