Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) a socio-spiritual-cultural, not-for profit organisation is making continuous endeavours to attain its goal of “World Peace” through the eternal science of self-realization – 'Brahm Gyan' under the guidance of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder – DJJS). Recently, DJJS organized 5 days Shri Ram Katha in Dakala, Patiala, Punjab from 4th April to 8th April, 2017.
Large number of Devotees gathered to attend this peaceful and spiritual discourse. Several dignitaries also marked their presence at this event. The mesmerizing devotional songs filled the hearts of devotees with devotion for lord.
Sadhvi Saumya Bharti Ji, Katha orator (disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji) beautiful explained and elaborated the life and deeds of the supreme power –Lord Ram. For supreme sacrifices, and many other qualities, Rama is considered a Maryada Purushottama or the best of upholders of Dharma, God in the form of an exemplary human. Always attentive and accessible to his people and the best example of perfect character and human conduct, inspiring human beings for countless succeeding ages. The orator went on to highlight the importance of Katha and relevance in the contemporary times. Lord Rama’s legacy still rules the hearts of Indian people. Shri Rama has been a role model for everyone be it a common man or even a king or ruling class of some state. Rama and Sita have been leaders and role models of character for many thousands of generations.
Clarifying the purpose of Katha, the orator voiced that - there is something inside every human being that cries out for significance; something inside of us that wants to know that we are not just breathing air, not occupying space, but we're actually here for a reason and we're making a difference. The key is to make a relationship with the creator; so that he can reveal you who you really are, and what your purpose is. This is possible only by the grace of a Perfect Spiritual Mentor who enlightens a being spiritually and helps him to attain both spiritual & worldly goals. It is only through spiritual activism one can bring change in world by starting from self. Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji has laid down the strong foundation of DJJS on self-realization – 'Brahm Gyan to achieve the vision “From Self Awakening to Global Peace”.
