Land of Kangra, Himachal Pradesh was blessed immensely when Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan organized pious Shri Ram Katha to awaken the masses towards their soul and social responsibilities. With abundant grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Shri Ram Katha started with Kalash Yatra spreading the divine message of global peace. Katha began from 30th May 2018 and ended on 3rd June 2018. Program was an exemplary example of selfless service done for betterment of society.
Shri Ram Katha was orated by Sadhvi Garima Bharti Ji. She explained the condition of society and saints in Treta Yug before arrival of Sri Ram Ji and compared it with Kalyug. There was not much of a difference. She mentioned that Yug Purush always comes with aim to spread divine knowledge that leads to spiritual awakening. Shri Ram portrayed the perfect example of how to manage relationships. He not only sacrificed his life for his family but for society too. Today Man has become selfish which is the main reason of all the destruction. Shri Ram didn’t just tell but showed how to give up ones desires and serve society.
Ramcharitamanas is a perfect guideline to become a devotee and lead a peaceful life. First preliminary condition required to become a devotee is to go and surrender one’s ego in holy feet of the perfect master like Shri Ram and ask for Divine Knowledge. With holy grace, one can see God in all his glory with-in himself and start his spiritual journey. Character of Bharat, Lakshman, Mata Sita Ji and Shri Hanuman sets idol goals for a person who wants to realize himself. One of the biggest lessons in Ramayana is the power of unity. Vanar Sena when guided by Shri Ram not only builds a bridge together to reach Lanka but defeated huge ‘Rakshasi Sena’ of Ravan. It did set up a heroic example that if we all gather our capabilities and apply for that one goal that is building a peaceful world; under the guidance of Yug Purush, we can achieve our goal with integrity too. Masses were impressed with the efforts of selfless volunteers and grasped the message of divine knowledge. They got to know about the social initiatives of Sansthan and all other causes, it stands for. Event was a huge success as lots of people took Brahm Gyan (Divine Knowledge to realize one-self) and promised to participate in social initiatives.
