Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), a socio-spiritual organization under the prudent guidance of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, from 13th - 19th May 2024. The devotees of Vikaspuri and adjoining areas (in New Delhi) experienced the divine grace of Lord Krishna at this seven-day mega event. During the programme, Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji, preacher disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, aesthetically narrated the divine sermons of Lord Krishna through the interplay of a series of melodious soul-satiating bhajans. She explained Lord Krishna’s teachings and described the relevance of Shrimad Bhagwat in todays’ world.
To attain a life full of divine bliss & eternal peace it is necessary to know God’s original form. In such scenario, the relevance of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha becomes more eminent. It sanctifies Shri Krishna as the pre-eminent preacher of our eternal meta-physical philosophy, who took birth in human form to enlighten the masses and to uproot the darkness and misery in that era, the Dwapar Yuga.
Sadhvi Ji described the katha with innumerable shlokas and explained that Shri Krishna is an intriguing character with supreme excellence. He portrays a versatile personality and character traits acting as a cowherd, an obedient disciple of Guru Sandipani, a great king of Dwarka, a divine protector in case of Draupadi, a friend in need for Sudama, an enigmatic philosopher, an accomplished flute player and above all a legendary Guru. He was indeed the expert in all. Sadhvi Ji ardently decoded the spiritual symbolism behind the postulates and prophecies propounded by Lord Krishna. As a legendary master, Lord Krishna imparted the supreme truths of Yoga, Bhakti and Karma to Arjuna and several Gop-Gopis of Braj. The inspirations from the notable epic Mahabharata rests on Brahm Gyan imparted by Lord Krishna to Arjuna in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Krishna proved to be the ideal master as he never provoked Arjuna to believe what he says without the practical enlightening experience. He patiently listened, answered, and counselled Arjuna to spell out his doubts, confusions, and emotional trauma before giving his own logic and reasoning.
The Katha Orator further articulated that this kind of spiritual pursuit is the prime goal for any human being and that material achievements are secondary.
Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is the Perfect Master of this era, gracing myriad souls with same Brahm Gyan or Self Realisation technique that connects one with the Sole Supreme Power. She further cited many examples of Satguru and disciple sagas of yesteryears and explained that Satguru is the ocean of mercy and pure love, from which even the most withered heart can satiate their thirst of many births.
The captivating discourse was accompanied by melodious and soulful bhajans which left the audience spellbound. The devotees took a pledge to contribute towards healthy society which involves not only changing the outside world but their own self that includes healthy body, mind, and soul.
