Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, recipe to liberate soul, enlightened Jamnagar, Gujarat

Lord Krishna’s profoundly revealed that ‘Whenever there is suppression of righteousness, then I take the form / reincarnate in the world to establish the righteousness again. For liberating gentle righteous person and punishing those who are evils and to establish the reign of righteousness, I reincarnate/ manifest in every era’.

To reiterate Lord Krishna’s message and to provide glimpse of a new era, a nine days program of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha was organized in Jam Nagar, Gujarat from 02nd to 10th October 2015. Katha orator Sadhvi Padamhasta Bharti Ji described that Krishna is usually regarded as the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu and was born in Dwapara Yuga as the “Dark One”.

Lord Krishna was the embodiment of love, and divine joy that destroys all pain and sin. HE was the protector of sacred utterances and cows. Lord Krishna was an instigator of all forms of knowledge and was born to establish the religion of love. The Katha orator, disciple of HIS Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (founder of DJJS), focused on the life of Lord Krishna who incarnated to eradicate negative elements from the society and protect people from clutches of the brutal king Kans.

She also revealed the concealed meaning behind the divine plays of Lord Krishna and disclosed how each act was a movement to address social issues like Gender Equality, malnutrition, Cow Slaughtering etc. Sri Krishna made an indelible impression upon mankind's collective consciousness—re-educating the world about devotion and dharma as well as the ultimate reality.

His life was a model for people in days past, the modern world and surely for those in ages to come. Seeing Krishna as a perfect personification of divinity, millions of people pray to HIM even today, chant his names, meditate on his form and try to put his teachings into practice. His life has inspired a treasure house of poetry, music, painting, sculpture and other fine arts. His glory is unsurpassable. His story is a source of joy and inspiration for people from all walks of life.

A child, a brother, a charioteer, a warrior, a disciple, a guru, a cowherd, a messenger, the beloved of the gopis... Throughout his life, Krishna enacted so many roles but never forgetting that they were just that, roles, and that his true nature was eternal, ever blissful consciousness. In this way, he was able to remain detached and thus perform flawlessly is perhaps his greatest teaching.

To explain and make people realize Lord Krishna’s teachings, the perfect master of today, Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, is providing Brahm Gyan (Eternal Knowledge) and making Lord Krishna’s revelation true in this era also. The need of the hour is to realize the self using Brahm Gyan and this Katha provided the perfect pedestal for that.
