In our lifetime, we gather different kinds of knowledge: Academic knowledge, kinesthetic knowledge, Music knowledge, Literary Knowledge but as Swami Vivekananda said that all the knowledge is a waste if one doesn’t get spiritual knowledge. Without Spiritual Knowledge, one remains uneducated. The main question then is what the Spiritual Knowledge is. Is it just reading of Holy Scriptures, listening to devotional songs or listening to spiritual discourse or just visiting temple is enough? Our scriptures themselves say that God is subject matter of realization and this realization is true spiritual knowledge.
In order to spread this message to the masses, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organized Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Katha from 8th - 14th January, 2017 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Sadhvi Aditi Bharti Ji. Preacher disciple of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head and Founder of DJJS) was the orator of the event. For the first time in Bengaluru, such a spiritual event was witnessed by thousands of devotees. The event commenced with mesmerizing rally called - Kalash Yatra, where many women handed over a Kalash on their head while hailing the name of the Lord. Hundreds of devotees joined the rally giving the open invitation to come and quench the thirst of many births by finally getting blessed with Brahm-Gyan.
The seven days event showered not only the words of wisdom but also directed the way of truth to all holy people. The Katha was pertaining to the inspiring stories regarding the Goddesses - Mahishasur Mardhini, Devi Lakshmi, Devi Parvati, Devi Kaali, how these goddesses followed the path of truth in order to merge into their beloved God and how they blessed their sincere worshippers who were bestowed with Divine Knowledge and also followed the path earnestly.
Sadhvi Aditi Bharti Ji, beautifully explained how God and Goddess are the two sides of same coin, such as if God is Sun, Goddesses are the beautiful rays, if God is cloud, Goddesses are the cool drops of rain, if God is blooming flower then Goddesses are its fragrance. No matter how different we have pursued, both originated from the same source with same energy and same power.
The description of historic events along with the tuned devotional songs and prayers touched the hearts of audience and everyone was bound to listen with rapt attention. The melodious rhythms along with inspirational lyrics make the audience realized the spiritual spirit within; waiting to be awakened. Sadhvi Ji claimed confidently that God can be seen. She unveiled the tool to see God which is ‘Brahm Gyan’ (Divine Knowledge). Many devotees showed their keen interest to bless with it. Sadhvi Ji also shared different social initiatives: Antarkranti, Antardrishti, Kamdhenu and Sanrakshan where DJJS is leading in attaining the remarkable positive transformation.
Many intellectuals and elites also marked their valuable presence. Many volunteers contributed with their selfless service to make this event a great success. Many attendees not only appreciated the work of the organization but also showed their interest to be associated with in long-term. After-all the change starts with building and sustaining relations and unity.
