Music is one of the best means to express love and devotion towards the Supreme. Music serves where words can’t express the innate feelings. Music catches all the attention and awakens you to the new horizons of divinity. It transcends a devotee to another world where the physical state of being doesn’t matter and one only wants to immerse in the ocean of divine music. When huge gathering is formed to praise the glories of lord, transforming vibrations are released into the world.
One such devotional concert was held by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) under the aegis of his founder Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. The event was aptly named ‘Bhajan Sandhya’. It was held in Batala, Punjab on 7th August, 2017 and gave the taste of divine music to its audience. Sadhvi Sumedha Bharti Ji, the eloquent speaker, addressed the audience enriching them with inner zeal and enthusiasm for self-transformation and work for the nation to exceed and enlighten the world thereafter. Sadhvi Ji, preacher disciple of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, stated that today’s world needs transformation however it’s possible only through inner revolution.
Thousands of devotees were gathered under the same roof to listen to intoxicating beautiful melodies representing true feelings of devotion and love towards almighty. They listened to the awakening words of Sadhvi Sumedha Bharti Ji. During discourse, she explained soul can’t directly reach god’s abode, it needs a medium. A perfect master acts as that medium which gives us key to God’s door. He has that enlightening knowledge which destroys all the doubts one have in mind regarding true path of salvation. He blesses us with that divine knowledge and makes us realize that we are not body but a soul and our aim is to purify ourselves and reach the state of ultimate bliss.
She explained the difference between shiksha guru and diksha guru. One who only gives teaching and preaches us are shiksha guru but the one who makes us see god inside our own self is diksha guru as diksha in literal sense, means to see. She progressed by saying one should not settle unless he finds true guru who gives diksha because only shiksha is not enough to attain salvation but realizing one’s true selves makes us perfect and complete.
She proved her words by mentioning the heroic accomplishments of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji and how Brahm Gyan transformed million lives. In the end she invited everyone present there to witness the success of Sansthan and be part of it. Devotees were thankful that they attended such an awakening session and could be part of the event.
