Today, with so many platforms to present one’s personality to a huge number of people, individuals are finding themselves under the scrutinizing eyes more often than not. The scrutiny rather turns into an uncalled criticism. Human mind is ever impressionable, especially that of children and teens. In the drive for approval and acceptance the youth is leading itself on to the path of becoming prosperous but only in comparison to others. This course of action has its seeds in the feeling that everyone will get ahead of oneself and one would be left all alone. The loneliness is considered to be the main feeder of stress. The feeling that one is a lone fighter acts as a threat to the survival of the individual for the mind reads every other unfavorable situation as a challenge to one’s identity in society.  Is there a way out of this vicious stronghold of stress? If not to avert it, at least, to manage it? Yes, there is. Sadhvi Manendra Bharti Ji under the grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, founder and head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), delivered a talk on Stress Management at the Chankaya International School, Jalandhar, Punjab on 7th July 2017.

Sadhvi Ji said to the gathered and teachers that the effects of stress are extremely harmful. Stress affects the tranquility of the being to the utmost core. Stress makes the mind overwork, impeding the being’s ability to have a sound sleep. A sound sleep rejuvenates both mind and body. Absence of it affects the productivity of the efforts by an individual leading to a state of anxiety or worse depression. But since a sound sleep is the result of a sound and serene mind won’t it be important to bring peace to mind first. The best way to do that is to perform meditation. Meditation has been considered by the ancient sages as well as modern scientists to be the most fruitful solution to stress. However, in the contemporary world there now exists a plethora of meditation techniques ranging from fixing one’s eyes on a candle or lamp to imagining about the lush green gardens. Sadhvi Ji said that these techniques do not completely calm the mind as their results are to be thought about rather than felt.

On the other hand, meditation is about going beyond thoughts and senses. A total merger of the mind and body with the soul. There is only one technique which is capable of connecting the individual with the soul within and that is Brahm Gyan. Brahm Gyan can only be given by a truly enlightened Master. The Master opens the third eye and leads the individual to the inner journey through which the individual gets to know that his/her existence has a much bigger purpose than just being the theme of other’s opinion. Once this realization occurs then the everyday situations do not trouble the individual and s/he can lead a stress free life. In the present time H H Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is one such enlightened Master who can enlighten an individual. All are welcome to be blessed with Brahm Gyan with the benign grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji at Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan.
