The Nehru Place center of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan founded/mentored by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj ji under its ongoing campaign of Drug Abuse Eradication Program [Bodh] organised an interactive workshop on gateway drugs and the harmfulness of their initial consumption at Sarvoday Public School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. This workshop in which 1600 students enthusiastically participated was targeted at sensitizing the vulnerable and restless minds of students who seem to be always eager in subject matters of experimentation and adventure.
The workshop energetically began with an exciting session incorporating unique and engaging activities including a series of rapid-fire quiz where students attentively participated. In the meanwhile, the outstanding performers were also awarded with gifts and honour as token of appreciation and encouragement.
Likewise, a group of dedicated Bodh volunteers performed an educative stage play [Nukad Natak] which dealt with the immense sufferings of drug abusers and obvious disadvantages of experimenting with narcotics. In response, all the participants highly appreciated this welfare initiative with an oration of a huge round of applause.
After these boosting sessions, a ten-minute lecture was simultaneously delivered by Sadhvi Shreepada Bharti ji and Sadhvi Nima Bharti ji, devotee/disciples of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj ji highlighting upon the preciousness of living. Via their factual and productive presentation, they strictly alarmed the participants to not opt for that devastating path of drug abuse and addiction which is ultimately misleading the entire mankind as per various contemporary researches. They further inspired the students in leading lives ahead as enlightened and awakened youths of the nation.
As a token of conclusion, the principal of the school was very much impressed and deeply appreciated the efforts of the organisation in drawing the youth population of the nation to righteous direction. She was also thankful to the organisation for having conducted such an inspiring workshop for the students.
