Daan Utsav, formerly known as The Joy of Giving week, is a festival of philanthropy. It is a time to give back to the society its due. Daan Utsav is celebrated every year from 2nd to 8th October. To celebrate this Utsav, Manthan-SVK organizes various events as a part of their selfless service for the underprivileged children of the society under the guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, founder and head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan.
Manthan SVK centers of Bihar are located in the flood affected regions and in the most poverty stricken regions where students couldn’t afford even the basics of life and living. Considering the upcoming winter season, as a part of this Daan Utsav, sweaters were distributed to the students of Padampur centre in Bihar on 26th October 2019. A total of 140 students received sweaters to protect them from the chilling wintertime. Students were ecstatic to receive brand new sweaters as a gift and were overwhelmed. Such camps and events are highly appreciated by one and all.
