Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), under the benevolent grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized a five-day inspiring Shri Ram Katha at Ferozepur, Punjab, from 29th March to 2nd April 2022. The Katha Orator Sadhvi Tripada Bharti Ji's eloquent narration of the life saga of Lord Ram attracted the presence of a huge audience.
Sadhvi Ji said that the sacred saga based on Lord Ram is relevant to the world to this day. We celebrate Lord Ram because he took each decision to usher in peace and harmony alone. He was the eldest son of King Dashrath. He could have chosen a life of comfort, yet he chose the righteous path over an easy one. He is celebrated for the path he took.
Sadhvi Ji quoted that Shri Ram did not kill the monkey King Bali for any benefit of his own and he killed him only after the later refused all the requests for a peace treaty. Bali had made his younger brother Sugriva's wife hostage and refused to relent. Similarly, Shri Ram undertook war with Ravana, the Demon King of Lanka, after his refusal of peace talks and return of Devi Sita. In both the cases, Shri Ram offered a fair chance to the opponent to abandon ego and tread the path of peace.
Every action of Shri Ram was an epitome of righteousness, targeted for the benefit of the world. His persona of an ideal husband and king is relevant even today and worth learning from. He treated everyone with respect and care. His constant connection to the divine through the practice of the eternal knowledge or Brahm Gyan again disseminated the role of a perfect master even if one is incarnation of Lord himself. He was initiated into this ancient science by his master Rishi Vashishtha.
The knowledge of the eternal still exists and is need of the hour. We too can attain the calmness with which Shri Ram lived even during adverse situations. All we need to do is to find a true Guru like Rishi Vashishtha who can show us the divine within. Concluding the Katha, Sadhvi Ji said that those who are interested in attaining Brahm Gyan can approach Djjs and attain Brahm Gyan with the grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Thus, start the spiritual journey at the earliest and live the purpose of human life to the fullest.
