Besides, the vibrations of the soulful bhajans created a unique divine ambience.  Devotional songs are known to calm the mind and to achieve peace within. The Katha narrator Sadhvi Vaishnavi Bharti Ji, disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji admirably narrated the Katha quoting from the authority of the shlokas from the scriptures and explained that Atman (soul) by its own nature is sovereign – it cannot in essence be bound – and the bondages experienced are sheer illusions of the mind. Shrimad Bhagwat provides that the practical experience of Eternal Light enables a human being to experience the wonderful freedom of liberation. Shrimad Bhagwat is a spiritual exposition, which explains the purpose of human life very clearly; it is a direction leading to the ultimate liberation of the soul. It is such a unique and sublime scripture, but King Parikshit had only seven days to live and it is said that by listening to the seven-day narration of Bhagwat Katha King Parikshit attained liberation from ignorance and fear through the blessing of self-realization.

She further articulated that when universal love and devotion is attained, the sorrow, attachments and fear vanish. Sorrow or mourning is connected with the events and experiences of the past; attachment is connected with the present and fear with the future. These are the three levels of thinking of the mind that disturb everyone. Mourning the past, attachment for the present, and fear or worry for the future. And who does not long for peace? Whether a person is a theist or an atheist, everyone craves for peace. When these three dominant influences vanish, one becomes quiet and coherent in dispositions.

The learned Preacher voiced that “Bhakti is the golden standard of Dharma. It is science of sciences and has immense potential to uplift a person to his ultimate true and pure self”. She quoted a number of examples from the scriptures in support of the said statement clarifying that how bhakti brings about positive changes in a person’s life. Through bhakti, the body turns out to be a temple and the heart performs the functions of a priest.

The main purpose of the Katha was to kindle the lost glory of the ancient culture of this country and infuse each individual with divinity through the message of Self-realization (Brahm Gyan) so that every soul is blessed and peace reigns supreme. Self-realization is the sole basis for the making of a peaceful world because it is a source through which we can transcend the mind-barrier and if not done so, it will act like the enemy. This is the only way through which we can own the practical experience our higher Self.

Several dignitaries marked their presence at this event. The prominent amongst them were,  Sh. Rajinder Bhadu (MLA Suratgarh), Smt. Kajal Chhabra (Chairperson Nagar Palika), Sh. Ashok Nagpal (Ex.
