Once, Goddess Parvati requested Lord Shiv to initiate her in the knowledge of the atma. But before initiating her, the Lord explained the essence of that knowledge (Brahm Gyan) which pervades everything in the universe; that which is the driving force of the entire universe. Sadhvi Tripada Bharti Ji along with the trained musician preacher disciples of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), under the divine grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, brought this narrative of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati to the masses of Yamunanagar in Haryana through the oration of the Shiv Katha from 31 May to 04 June 2017.

The True Meaning of Om: The Shiva Katha at Yamunanagar, Haryana

Sadhvi Ji said that Lord Shiva in the Kailas Samhita of the Shiv Puran himself states that atma is part of universal vibration. The vibration that can be heard or experienced in the rhythm of every being’s breath. However, all beings are not as evolved as the humans. Only humans with their evolved brains and spinal cord are able to attain that Knowledge which liberates one from the process of birth and death. That rhythm, that eternal sound palpable in the breath is Om.  This Om resonates in the breath of everyone. However, Om in one’s breath can be heard only with the benign grace of a True Spiritual Master when he opens the Third Eye of that spiritual aspirant.

Then Lord Shiva, stated Sadhvi Ji, elucidated the features of a True Spiritual Preceptor. Lord Shiva said that the Preceptor must not only know the words of the scriptures but also their profound meaning which he/she must be able to convey to the intending aspirants.  The Preceptor must be able to open the Third Eye at the request of the devotee. Once the Preceptor makes the devotee see the Light and hear the universal Om, the devotee must realize that “Preceptor is Shiva and Shiva is the Preceptor.” The devotee then should not wander in the world but follow the Preceptor’s every word for the Preceptor knows the best for his pupil.

Further, Sadhvi Ji said that once the Preceptor bestows Brahm Gyan on the pupil, the pupil comes to know the true nature of the atma. With the knowledge of the atma the pupil comes to know the true self which is Om. Concluding the Shiva Katha, Sadhvi Ji asserted that His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is the greatest true Spiritual Preceptor who owns the power to open the Third Eye of the spiritual aspirant. As such, every spiritual seeker is welcome to attain Brahm Gyan from DJJS’s Revered Master H H Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
