"When I do not know who I am, I serve You, and when I do know who I am, You and I are One.”- asserted the greatest servant of Lord to be found in History- Hanumaan. The common theme echoed by all our scriptures uniformly is that of Self-Realization as the supreme goal of spirituality. There is no other form as good as the human body, every living creature whether animate or inanimate crave for it. It is the only ladder for the soul to attain the final beatitude by realizing the divinity within. The epic tale of Lord Rama is pioneer to mankind in unravelling to the world the secrets of Divine Knowledge, to realize the kingdom of God within one’s soul. Human beings who fail to adore the supreme even after obtaining this body and wallow in the basest pleasures of the senses, fall in the realms of life and death in forms of various living creatures on this Earth.
To depict the Divine Knowledge in its quintessential aspect, and to relegate the foundation of good virtues & morals laid by Lord Rama, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan organised a five-day splendid Ram Katha program for the people of Kangra, Himachal Pradesh from 5th March to 9th March’ 2017, under the sovereign guidance of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji - Founder and Head of the organisation. The program commenced in a systematic manner with the “Rudri Path” that reverberated the atmosphere with positive vibes.
The Katha orator Sadhvi Tripada Bharti Ji eloquently narrated tales from the life of Lord Rama, who descended in human grab during the Treta Yug to exemplify the world the principles of ideal kingdom. He established equanimity, peace, serenity and truthfulness during his reign in Ayodhya in the wake of rigorous trials posted by circumstances time and again. His exile may seem full of misery to the materialistic eye; however, a spiritual eye recognizes the myriad context it holds. Its relevance is obvious when Lord Ram finally defeated Ravana and liberated Mother Sita. Sadhvi Ji further explained in order to practise the same idealism today, adherence to divine knowledge i.e. Brahm Gyan is source of all Dharmas in life. Only a Perfect Master or Satguru can bestow a seeker with this Gyan. Satguru bestows blessings in the form of wisdom, dispassion and devotion to his disciple.
Large number of devotees poured in from various corners of city, and participated heartily by singing & offered devotional prayers. The program served its objective of elucidating everyone about the purpose of human life and how Divine Knowledge can awaken mankind, not only towards their own upliftment, but for the betterment of the society and the world at large. The Guests and devotees venerated the conscientious efforts of DJJS.
