On Wednesday 14th October 2015, D. A. V High School invited Bodh Program to conduct a ‘Say No’ prevention workshop for the students and the other school authorities at Qila Mandi, Batala, Punjab.

Sh. Jatinder Sharma, President, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Punjab and K. l. Gupta, a Retired Bank Manager graced the event as guests and also delivered some words of motivation post the workshop taken by the expert facilitators of Bodh, the Drug Abuse Eradication Program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan.

Through activities and live demonstrations, various important concepts and significant lessons like ‘how to identify the good and the bad in life, ‘how to say no to the bad’ and what it takes to say no to someone’,  were discussed and talked about with students in detail. Also, the skills for identifying ‘a problem’ in its true perspective, handling stress and ways to manage failures were some of the topics over which  discussion was done to understand the psychology of ‘experimenting with drugs’.

The workshop was a great success in terms of response and understanding of students towards the subject.

Unmoolan Campaign is a unique initiative aiming to create a drug free environment in Punjab where people are strong willed and resolute to not even experiment with drugs based upon the informed decision taken by themselves alone, not pushed, not induced by anyone else from the society.
