Nalanda, a scholastic institution of ancient Bharat which is now an archaeological place that beholds the remains of the burnt Nalanada Mahavihara. The remains of the ancient University sings the glory of Bharat’s education system. The gargantuan campus, of which approximately 90% is still unexcavated, manifests the way ancient Bharat flourished in all sense.
Just near the remains of Nalanda Mahavihara is the newly constructed Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, a deemed University established by the Government of India to re-establish the ancient seat of learning in Nalanda.

Vedic Sangoshthi - The Preachers of DJJS and representatives of Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir Visits Nava Nalanda Mahavihara

Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir, established under the blessings and guidance of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, is incessantly working to reinstate the glory of vedic culture.

In the array of events, DJJS Preacher Sadhvi Sharvani Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji and Swami Yadavendranand Ji along with DJVM Volunteers visited the Nava Nalanda Mahavihara on 28 May 2022. The team met Prof. Vijay Kumar Karn Head of Department, Sanskrit and Prof. Susim Dubey, Head of Department, Philosophy, Yoga and Vipassana. Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji elucidated the importance of Vedic culture and its heritage, while emphasizing how DJVM is dedicatedly working towards propagating and re-establishing the Vedic heritage of Sanskrit language across the world under the divine guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. The team also shared the activities of DJVM through these years and showed the audio-visual of the new Rudri Path by DJVM. Both the professors appreciated the endeavors of DJVM by signing the  letter of endorsement praising and acknowledging the initiatives of Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir (DJVM).

Prof. Vijay Kumar Karn gave a special tour to the team of the in-campus library where the ancient manuscripts are kept, he also gave a close insight on how these manuscripts are carefully preserved. In the end, the team visited the ruins of ancient Nalanda Mahavihara witnessing the grandeur of the ancient learning system of our great Bharat
