After a half an hour High Tea ceremony, the event commenced with a Devi Stuti by team of Santulan volunteers chanting the great virtues of Devi Maa that was followed by a sensitizing play displaying the wide comparison between the status of women in ancient times vs the present time. The audience was not just awe-struck but also seemed to dip in a sense of guilt for the current condition of womanhood in the society. Against this backdrop, the disciple of Sh. Ashutosh Maharaj Ji who is also the national program coordinator of Santulan delineated her master’s unique perspective for the alleviation of women today.

Sadhvi Ji highlighted the much elevated position, equivalent status & rights enjoyed by women in the ancient India. She explained that the women in ancient times were spiritually awakened that was a reason for their holistic empowerment and used to keep them stay strong, confident and contended. Women in present India are imposed with subordination because of lack of spiritual essence.
