“Safar or Suffer Campaign” which began in the city of Ambala, Haryana under Bodh- the drug abuse eradication program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan founded/mentored by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj ji is now all set to welcome aboard the women brigade to work against Drinking and Driving in the city. For the same, a Women Meeting was organized by the organization’s Ambala center to sensitize them about the ways through which they can contribute towards the prevention of drinking and driving in the City.

Around 150 women attended this meeting and were enlightened about the measures they can take as individuals, in both cases of while they are seated in cars as "drivers" and as "companions to the persons driving" to ensure safe ride.

During the meeting, Sadhvi Gopika Bharti Ji, the devotee disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji and the facilitator of Bodh, explained the audience “How drinking and driving ruins not only an individual but an entire family”, thus it is important for women to ensure that one drives sober, be it a woman herself or one's intimate on the steering wheel. In order to brief before them further that not only Drinking and Driving but multitasking while driving is also very harmful, an open activity was conducted to illustrate how while multitasking, it is difficult to concentrate on any of one thing and hence, one should avoid texting or calling someone who is driving to safeguard driver’s complete attention on road.

The participants well understood the implications of any sort of negligence on road and thereby, quickly grabbed the tips given to them on road safety. All of them walked back home with a pledge to contribute in every possible manner to make the roads of Ambala Drug Free and Safe.
