Emphasizing on the role of spirituality in nursing, a "noble profession", D.J.J.S. Arogya organized an awareness workshop at Patna Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Science, Bihar in December 2022.
It is an undeniable fact that a nurse has a very important role in healing the patient. And this whole process depends not only on following medically prescribed procedures but also on a nurse's own personality, mental level, conduct, behavior and ethics.
But often not only by ordinary people but also by those coming from the medical profession, there is not enough emphasis on a nurse’s personality, due to which even a profession as noble as nursing is limited only to the fulfillment of responsibilities and following instructions. The simple reason for this is that there is lack of understanding of the concept of ‘Sewa’ or service
Highlighting this point, DJJS Arogya organized an awareness workshop at Patna Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, Bihar, where Sadhvi Anuradha Bharti Ji, Representative, Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan not only educated about 180 young participants to explain the role of spirituality in nursing but also trained them by many demonstrative activities|
The event was well attended and appreciated by the students and college authorities.
