To mark ‘World Health Day 2019’, two days ‘Free Ayurvedic Health Check-up Camps’ were separately organized for school children of ‘Government Primary School of Chupkiti village’ and ‘Government Elementary School of Chak Tare Wala village’ in Moga district of Punjab on 4th & 5th of April 2019 respectively. DJJS Moga branch planned these camps to endorse Ayurveda amongst school children as a natural course of complete health & well-being.
An eminent Ayurvedic doctor from ‘Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ayurvedic Treatment Centre, Nurmahal’- Dr. Shashi Prakash Tiwari conducted health screening and check-up of all the children present in the schools. More than
175 children and school staff were examined and diagnosed through Ayurvedic procedures and modern method. Also, the basic health screening included Height and weight measurement for BMI index, overall hygiene and assessing any chronic health problem. Also Ayurvedic medicines and products of SAM Ayurvedic Pharmacy at Nurmahal, Punjab were dispersed to the children related to their health problems.
Eminent guests Sh. Charanjeet Singh (Principal, Government Primary School, Chupkiti village), Sh. Bhupinder Singh (Principal, Government Elementary School, Tare Wala village), Sh. Jagdeep Singh (Sarpanch, Chupkiti village) graced the event by their presence.
