PEACE Program, the Corporate Workshop Wing and Holistic Self-development Program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), in support of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, celebrated 7th annual International Day of Yoga with an exclusive webcast YOGA-fy With PEACE, आह से वाह तक! - a Mega Flower Yog Festival, on 19th June 2021. The event brought a 5-in-1 comprehensive yoga package defining attributes of five flowers.

The enthralling Webcast featured highly qualified spiritualists, expert yoga guides, certified psychologist and professional dance trainers. The technical expertise provided by the Ministry of AYUSH made the execution seamless.

Thousands of yoga-enthusiasts, working professionals, students and even children zealously joined the event and practised Yoga, along with the representatives. A wave of happiness and tranquility was observed among the attendees, as they shared their high-spirited feedback live during the event.

Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti Ji, Coordinator, PEACE Program, said, “People around the globe have embraced Yoga due to its positive impact, and they come together every year to commemorate the International Day of Yoga. However, Yoga should not just be limited to a single day, rather it should be cultivated as a life-long habit. We created this Mega Flower Yog Fest to make Yoga a part of everyones routine. In this unique format, we presented Yoga in five different packages that caters to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health of a person.”

The Jasmine Yog, presented by Sadhvi Ruchika Bharti Ji, Facilitator, PEACE Program, DJJS, taught various detox therapies and selective breathing patterns that got everyone into the workout mode. With Rose Yog session, taken by Jyoti Dhull Ji, a dedicated Mental Health Professional and a Certified Counselling Psychologist, the audience learnt how to manage anxiety levels and control anger issues. Using various muscle relaxation techniques, Rose Yog also addressed various mental health related concerns. The audience felt rejuvenated and relaxed, and they flooded the comments section, saying that this Yog is much needed in present times.

Highlighting an interesting concept, brother Kamaljeet, PEACE Volunteer, UK, encouraged everyone in Sadabahaar Yog session to put sedentary lifestyle at bay by merging Yoga with everyday activities like cooking, washing clothes, working on laptop, housekeeping etc.

A creative fusion of live demonstration and travelogue, depicting the analogy of outer travel vs inward journey was presented in the Lotus Yog session by Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti Ji. It became the event highlight as the audience was amazed by this spiritual and divine aspect of Yoga.

Lastly, Marigold Yog tapped onto the patriotic fervour, with Goodways Fitness Aerobics Team getting everyone into action mode, while performing super energizing aerobics.

This Mega Flower Fest presented an innovative concept amalgamating different flowers and their uniqueness with the varied flavours of Yoga. With this approach, PEACE Program brought Yoga to all segments of the society, addressing an array of problems ranging from curing ailments to establishing a healthy lifestyle.
