Inauguration of Kamdhenu Yagyashala: Divya Dham Ashram, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan

October 12, 2016

Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The COW is a poem of pity. One reads pity in the gentle animal. She is the mother to millions of Indian mankind. Protection of the cow means protection of the whole dumb creation of God. The ancient seer, whoever he was, began with the cow. The appeal of the lower order of creation is all the more forcible because it is speechless.” To implement the   wishes and directions of Mahatma in letter and spirit, the Sansthan successfully launched yet another project that owns immense spiritual, sociological and economic bearings, under the benign inspiration and guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, the Founder and Head of DJJS. The occasion was the grand inaugural event on 2nd October 2016, held at Divya Dham Ashram, Qutubgarh Road, Punjab Khor Crossing, New Delhi. This is an important milestone in the history of this non-government, non-profit and leading socio-spiritual organization and this is one of the positive measures to protect the cattle wealth of India.

A number of philanthropists extended their valuable contribution by donating cows and other ancillary food items that are needed for the sustenance and health of the cows. They also participated in the Yagna and offered prayers for the protection of cows and their health. In fact by protecting their health and taking necessary care, the humankind serves its own interests also.

Cow protection has significant spiritual support. The wise ones have revealed, “He alone sees truly who sees the Lord the same in every creature, seeing the same Lord everywhere. He doesn’t harm himself or others.” The cause calls upon each and every individual to do one’s bit for protection and maintenance of the cows.
