Restoration of Peace in Punjab
The year 1983 was the darkest period in the history of Punjab. The prosperous and eventful state was thrown into a blazing fire of violence and terrorism. It was against this backdrop that His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji appeared on the scene in Punjab and resurrected it to its bygone glory. The perpetual fear of war hanging over innocent people was totally uprooted and inter-faith harmony was re-established; with peaceful methods of counseling, discoursing and Brahm Gyan (eternal science of self-realization) based Dhyaan.
Laying the Foundation of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS)
The Master declared "World Peace" as the chief aim and objective of DJJS, and the organization was formally registered as an international, socio-spiritual non-governmental organization in 1991 under the Societies Registration Act 1860. New Delhi, India, was formally declared to be its headquarters.

Through a plethora of socio-cultural activities in the form of Katha Uvachan (story telling), discourses and devotional music concerts, the lost glory of intangible cultural heritage of India is being reinstated. Myths and Misconceptions based on cultural doctrines have been cracked by the Master
With appropriate interpretation of religious texts and logical comprehension of cultural doctrines, His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji has cracked the orthodox belief system of society giving birth to prejudicial malpractices. To name a few, the human havoc of female feticide happening in the light of son preference for the reason of salvation has been completely negated on scriptural basis – rite gyanan muktih (salvation is only possible through divine knowledge and not by son or daughter). Similarly, practices such as 'bali' (animal killing), casteism, rich & poor divide, denial of opportunity to women for chanting ved-mantras, reading scriptures and sitting on vyas-peeth have been proven as pseudo-religious practices and hence been completely rejected.
Formation of ethically correct and righteous societies based on Divine Wisdom
His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji has re-introduced ancient practice of integrated relationship between the society and the sanyasis (who have renounced their personal lives, personal & professiobnal aims and ambitions, family, property & assets and careers for the welfare of society at large). Wherein the society takes care of the basic living needs of sanyasis – food, clothing, shelter and others and the sanyasis based on the divine wisdom revealed within ensure evolution of the society by disseminating ethics, morals, virtues and knowledge of right and wrong to the society.
Revival of traditional knowledge
Overuse of synthetic systems of agriculture, food, fitness and medicine is taking the society towards dead end of dependencies, expenditure and dearth of natural resources and energy. In this scenario, His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji has reintroduced traditional knowledges of Yoga and Pranayam, Indian Cattle rearing and organic farming and science of Ayurveda to rebuild human-nature relationship and re-create self-sustainable systems. On this basis, for a change to be wholesome and non-relapsing, it has to sprout at the root level of complete human personality – Inner Self (Soul).
No intellectual knowledge or outside methodologies suffice in bringing a transformation in individual's action and behavioural pattern. Human action is the result of human thought. Therefore, to control human action, human thoughts have to be gauged. A bundle of thoughts make up human mind which can only be altered through the superior faculty of the Soul. For that, the soul must be awakened.
As has been proclaimed by all our Scriptures in unison, this awakening is possible only through the Divine Knowledge - eternal science of Brahm Gyan. Divine in itself is something out the world, hence, the knowledge – Brahm Gyan is a rare and difficult to master technique.
