Lord Krishna is the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu – an absolute incarnation of the Almighty, a Supreme Being. Born in the Dwapar Yuga, Lord Krishna is central to the Shrimad Bhagvad Purana and also the reciter of the Bhagvad Gita before the epic battle of Mahabharata.

Shri Krishna Janmashtmi Mahotsav marks the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna and is celebrated in great fervour by Hindus globally.

Lord Krishna bestowed Divine Knowledge unto warrior disciple Arjun, before the Mahabharata, to resolve the tussle between “right” and “wrong” in his mind, and providing him with the path of “Dharma” to alleviate him above “Karma” and become a warrior who fights for absolute right.
