DJJS organised a grand scale “Monthly Spiritual Congregation” at Divya Dham Ashram, New Delhi on 3rd April 2022. The program was full of energy, divinity, and positivity. Devotees gathered in large numbers and were greatly benefitted with the words of wisdom meant for their spiritual development. The program started with the chanting of Veda Mantras, which marked a perfect peaceful beginning for auspicious arrival of Indian New Year (Bharatiya Nav Varsh – 2079).
The stage was beautifully decorated and resonated with the theme of the day. A series of devotional songs created a pious ambience and instilled divinity in each heart. Prayers were offered to the Divine Mentor “Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head, DJJS)” to seek blessings and strength for a successful and spiritually enlightened “Bharatiya Nav Varsh, Vikram Samvat-2079”.
Bharatiya Nav Varsh is celebrated on Shukla Paksha Pratipada of Chaitra. This year, it was on 2nd April 2022. In Hinduism, this day is considered to be the most auspicious day of the year as it brings spiritual blessings for all. The celebration of New Year at this time is not only as per our culture, but also in sync with nature, which springs in full bloom.
The Preacher Disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji told about the significance of observing “Bharatiya Nav Varsh” by taking references from various spiritual texts of India. They also mentioned that the Hindu calendar is Lunisolar. It is ingeniously based on both the sun as well as the moon and is highly scientific. That’s why, the Hindu calendar is considered to be more accurate in ancient astrology and astronomy. It made the people aware of the rich scientific, cultural and spiritual heritage of India.
The Preachers also mentioned about the historical importance of celebrating this day. They told that Lord Brahma started the creation of the universe on this day. This is the day of coronation of Lord Shri Ram. This is the first day of Navratri, etc.
The Preachers motivated the disciples to tread the path of spirituality with full zeal and enthusiasm, under the guidance of revered Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. The innumerable benefits of Brahm Gyan based meditation for social and spiritual growth were reiterated to the disciples. With a firm resolve, everyone vowed to offer services in the making of a world, where peace, brotherhood, and compassion reign supreme.
By the grace of Gurudev, the program was successfully concluded with group meditation. The devotees were filled with utmost determination and positivity.
