To recharge the mind of Devotees and to encourage them to speed up their spiritual journey, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organised Monthly Spiritual Congregation on 2nd February, 2020 at Divya Dham Ashram, Delhi. Thousands of devotees were gathered at the venue. Series of devotional songs created the irresistible vibes of divinity and channelized the supreme energy within each heart, body, mind and soul.
The Learned preacher disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder – DJJS) explained that the goal of human life (to commune with the Supreme) is the most simple and the most straightforward path of all the paths. When we take care of our health at soul-level, then the physical and psychological dimensions are also nurtured. We cannot reach our goal without purity of heart. Until the mind is calm and still, we cannot realize Him. So long as one is outwardly, one cannot realize the Reality within. We need to pull the attention from all transient things in life and firmly fix it on the Eternal Lord through meditation.
Preachers further added that every one of us is afflicted with the sickness of mind. The mind is the key to heaven as well as to hell but one needs to understand that the mind is blind but the soul is not, the mind lacks stability but the soul is perfectly stable. Conquest of mind is the first step not only on the path of Spirituality, but also to achieve success in every walk of life. Meditating on the glorious effulgence of the self is the true method to tame the drunken monkeys in our minds. Dr. Christopher Brown, the lead researcher at the Manchester's School of Translational Medicine has stated that “Meditation trains the brain to be more present-focused and spend less time anticipating future negative events, thus reducing recurrence of depression which otherwise makes chronic pain considerably worse”.
It is our greatest privilege that through the grace of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, we have got the eternal science of life – “Brahm Gyan”. A disciple should realize the precious time and effort he has bestowed for our spiritual growth. We should focus on the goal, the ultimate destination and not to waste precious time and energy on the frivolities of life. Make best use of the opportunity and reap innumerable benefits by practicing the 'Brahm Gyan' meditation technique. The valuable experiences shared by the learned Preachers would surely help the devotees to bring constructive changes in their lives.
