The quotes from saint Vivekananda seemed to be in action at the congregation in Delhi, India where the 67th Republic Day was celebrated with undying spirit and enthusiasm at Divya Dham Ashram of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS). The whole program had an aura, never seen before. The atmosphere was reverberating with the tunes of patriotism, resolution, devotion and dedication. The theme of the program was aptly termed as ‘SANKALP’ which literally means ‘vouch to do something’ or ‘committed to do’. Since Gurudev Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (founder and lifeline of DJJS) has set a mission of ‘World peace’, the task at hand is not a cushy one.
The devotees and participants reiterated their commitment on the path of spirituality and vowed to channelize their energies and priorities towards the mission. Soulful and powerful bhajans invigorated the spirits, charged them with positive thinking and right direction. Discourses acted at the innermost core of every human being just in the same way as hammer strikes the minutest atom of an iron when it is red hot so that a perfect shape can be given.
Though a human being forms many resolutions in life but they all fade away in no time. Devotees took SANKALP (commitment) that their resolute to work for the self and the mission is not merely a lip service. They pledged to surrender themselves for the cause, render their potentials and talents towards the regeneration of the new era. An era, about which a lot has been said and heard, has to come into existence. Now is the time to work towards it and turn it into a reality.
Such were the soul stirring thoughts at the Republic day where ushering of new era will make an ideal INDIA once again. It touched the cord of each and every being. It was also concluded that all the devotees need to spread the message of ‘Brahm Gyan’ as wild fire so that no life can remain untouched by its benefits. This will be a real Republic day and service to the nation.
