To pay homage to the revered master for his inimitable grace and to celebrate Guru Purnima in its full radiance and fervour, the devout followers of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji assembled from different parts of Canada at Toronto on 8th and 9th July 2023 to commemorate Guru Puja festivities. The program started with salutation in the lotus feet of Almighty followed by Hawan Yagya. The event was a unique spiritual program involving Arti Pujan of the revered Gurudev, Enlightening Discourses, Soul-Stirring Bhajans and Motivating Insights. The divine celebrations also showcased a mesmerizing play based on Guru-Disciple Bond. Numerous devotees witnessed the event and satiated their year-long desire to be part of this ecstatic experience.
Swami Sachidanand Ji, the disciple preacher of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder & Head, DJJS) elucidated the importance of Guru Purnima and an enlightened perfect master in one’s life. Swami Ji highlighted that the real purpose of our human form is to be illuminated from within on beholding the divinity of the Lord in our inner selves. An enlightened master plays a vital role in each one of our lives by making us realize our real selves and reforming and enlightening us from within. The Guru serves the ultimate and essential role of helping the soul accomplish its journey and helps put an end to infinite cycle of life and death, thereby liberating the devotees from worldly limitations of body and mind. The event recapitulated the relevance of meditation practice as the base for the accomplishment of Guru’s vision of a peaceful world; a world conducive for the spiritual growth of every human being.
