Shri Ram Katha is not only the elucidation from the text of Ramayana, the life journey of Shri Ram, but also the remembrance of the human potential to hold on to the righteous path even in the most excruciating situations of life. Shri Ram was not just the human incarnation of Lord Vishnu but an awakened soul with a divine consciousness. Hence, the text doesn't just reveal the story of a humble yet powerful and empathetic yet unattached human but also articulates that we humans in the present time can strive and attain the serenity of the soul which Shri Ram exemplifies. It is in this regard, from 13th to 19 February, 2017 at Kurukshetra (Haryana), by the grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Katha Vyas Shreya Bharti Ji ably conducted the Katha. Through the scholarly exposition on the life events of Shri Ram, she explained to the audience that we humans too can make an attempt to choose the path leading to the state of awakened soul, resilient self, and firm discretionary ability.
Navigating through the sub-parts (khand) of the Ramayana, the learned Katha Vyas brought out the essence of the text to the attentive listeners. Furthermore, the impact of the message of the text was enhanced by the devotional songs sung by the preacher-disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. The Katha Vyas not only narrated the Ramayana but elaborated upon the fact that if a human wishes to attain freedom from stress and exhaustion from the never-ending rat-race for worldly benefits, then one has to achieve- knowledge of the Self- Brahm Gyan. For, no other way will release a human from the shackles of human sufferings. Brahm Gyan, she further said, can only be bestowed upon by a Perfect Master.
The Katha Vyas further expounded the importance of choosing the correct spiritual master- the one who can show us the actual form of the soul which in essence is the form of God. A spiritual master who doesn't ask to be worshipped but rather makes his/her disciples independently secure the knowledge of the everlasting soul. The Katha Vyas asked the audience to put their faith only on such a master. His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji's DJJS is one such place where all the individuals wishing to become awakened souls can be bestowed with Brahm Gyan by Him. DJJS's gates are open for one and all.
With each passing day the word of DJJS' conducting the event of Shri Ram Katha’s blissfulness spread to the extent that the audience continued to swell day by day. Thus, the efforts of the preacher- disciples of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji and his self-motivated volunteer disciples further progressed the DJJS' core dream and resolution to bring ‘world peace’ in yet another part of the world.
