Education in India has always been multifaceted and the need for it to be holistic with equal responsibility of the home, school and society for the development and education of children, is ever felt. In order to strike the right balance between Indian value education and western materialistic education, Punarutthan Vidyapeeth launched a set of 5 books titled as ‘Bharatiya Shiksha Granthmala’ on 9th September, 2017 at the Shyam Prakash Mukherji Civic Centre Auditorium, New Delhi. The event was convened by Mr. Vasudev Prajapati and headed by Ms. Pramila Tayi.

Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan's social initiative Manthan - Sampoorna Vikas Kendra was invited in the event. Sampoorna Vikas Kendra is a holistic education programme for underprivileged children taken up by the grace and under the guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Manthan Program Lead Sadhvi Deepa Bharti ji and the volunteer teachers participated in the event wherein eminent personalities from various institutes and departments working in the field of imparting value and vedic based education were present. 

Punarutthan Vidyapeeth is a research oriented body affiliated to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, headed by Ishwar Dayal Kansal. According to him each book, containing 400 pages, is based on a value-based system keeping with the modern times as well as reviving the traditional ways of imparting education. These books are titled: 'Indian Education - Concept and Format', 'Behavioural Dimensions of Education in India', 'Overall Development Pattern of Education', 'Present and Future Probabilities in Education', and 'Indian Education: Solution to all Global Problems,' the Punarutthan Vidyapeeth chief further said. Their preface has been written by Mr Ranghari, member of the Vidyapeeth, he added.

Chancellor of the Vidyapeeth Ms. Indumati Katdare quoted Swami Vivekanand, while saying, 'Education is a man-making process. Do not make it a money-making process.' She also commended the extensive research done by Punarutthan Vidyapeeth for the last two years to be able to come up with the set of books.

RSS Sarsanghchalak Sh. Mohan Bhagwat Ji addressed the gathering and threw light upon the fact that conceptual thinking and knowledge is the need of the hour. He said that in today's world, marks are what define education whereas it should have been knowledge. He further added that the present education system in India is in dire need of change.

Acharya Shivaling Shivaraj, apart from members of the Vidyapeeth and other dignitaries from various walks of life, were also present on the occasion.

Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan has published a number of books related to spirituality, life skills and value education. One such book 'Mahayogi ka Maharahasya’ written by Mr. Sandeep Dev was gifted to Ms. Indumati Katdare , Ms. Pramila Tayi and the eminent guests present on the occasion. The dignitaries highly appreciated the selfless works being done by DJJS in the field of social transformation and treasured the invaluable inspirations imparted by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, in shaping a peaceful society.
