Sadhvi Padamhasta Bharti Ji, preacher disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji explained Shrimad Bhagwat Katha by illustrating various values of Lord Krishna making it more relevant than ever to the present challenges faced by man. It was accompanied by singing devotional bhajans that captivated the audience and aroused devotion feelings, followed by aspiration to engage in a spiritual life full of values and principles personified by Lord Krishna.

Shrimad Bhagwat Katha exemplifies noble values of Lord Krishna that needs to be inculcated in human character. Life without such Divinity is like being an orphan, full of ignorance and ethical dilemmas. A Perfect Master by bestowing Brahm Gyan (divine knowledge) to such an Anath (orphan) makes him a "Sanath", because Brahm Gyan dispels all human dilemmas with the help of direct experience and perception of divinity.

Innumerous Gopis wanted to attain oneness with Lord Krishna for the same reason. Life of Gopis was like that of a river which aspires to become one with the ocean. The values and morals exemplified by Lord Krishna were like the banks of the river which gives it a direction. Without such a direction, the river is bound to spillover and the water is left to rot and eventually the river dies. But once the river merges with the ocean it attains eternity. Goal of human life too is to attain oneness with the eternal consciousness which is possible by constant practice of Divinity, free of ignorance and immorality. Brahm Gyan is the eternal science of Divine experience and a source of energy which enables man to practice noble values amidst challenges and obstacles.

Today's generations also need to reflect on these teachings to build a peaceful world inhabited by people with noble values personified by Lord Krishna. Listening to Shrimad Bhagwat Katha provides an opportunity to introspect our present way of life and our choices. Sadhvi Ji explained various anecdotes and applied it to present context with the help of reason and logic. Gone are the days that such scriptures where considered superstition or mythical making it the elixir of psychological wellbeing.
