Books are proof that humans can work magic. Literature has its own world of words, full of meaning, ideas, directions, thoughts, views, perceptions and perspectives. As is the exercise for the body, so is the reading for mind.
“That is part of the beauty of all literature. You discover that your longings are universal longings, that you're not lonely and isolated from anyone. You belong.”
― F. Scott Fitzgerald
The World Book Fair at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 9th -17th January, 2016 was the perfect demonstration of importance of literature in one’s life. People from all over the world looked for a different taste in their different areas of interests. During the fair, literature on spirituality became the centre of attraction. No matter, from which country the people belong, but when it comes to India, no one can ignore the influence of true spirituality, which is the profound foundation of all our culture, beliefs and value system.
In order to make the world conscious about the true meaning of spirituality and to share the divine secret of experiencing it within, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) - a non- government, non- profit, leading spiritual organization, head and founded by His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, actively participated by organizing an exhibition in this World Book Fair. In the Hall 12A, Stall Number 318, successfully served its purpose in attracting large number of visitors, exhibitors, editors, writers and literature lovers and critics.
People understood the true concept of spirituality by knowing how it can be practiced in life to derive the most benefits out of this. Various books such as Search for Truth, Samadhi, Akhand Gyan, Gems of Spirituality, Mind- the double edged sword, etc. were the major highlights of the counter. Visitors appreciated the presence of DJJS at book fair, which definitely brought the sense of spirituality in their lives.
They came to know about the different projects such as Antarkranti (Rehabilitation of prisoners), Antardrishti (For making the blind live independently), Sanrakshan (Saving the environment), Manthan (For holistic education of less-privileged children), Santulan (For gender equality), etc. actively coordinated by DJJS and as organization, what DJJS is all about and what it intends to do. Visitors applauded the mission and vision set by the organization and showed their keen interest to contribute to DJJS in some way or the other. Some people were even inclined to establish long-term connection with the organization.
Through DJJS, people once again felt themselves much closer towards the spiritual richness of their own country. And DJJS, as an organization is grateful towards the love, compliments and praises received from the thousands of visitors, who too contributed to make it a great success.
