“Ceasing to do evil, cultivating the good, purifying the heart: This is the teaching of the Buddhas”
In order to spread the divine message of Buddhism and make people aware about the correct way of imbibing these teachings in life, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) - a non-government, non-profit and a leading spiritual organization, head and founded by His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized a grand event on 21st May, 2016, to celebrate Buddha Jayanti in Nepal.
Buddha was born as Prince Siddhartha in Nepal. He attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree in Bodh Gaya, in present-day Bihar, India. There, he preached his teachings and thus Buddhism came into existence.
Exclusive literature exhibition attracted audience and visitors. Many queries were clarified and many solutions were given. Books like- ‘Samadhi’, ‘Search of Truth’, ‘Akhand Gyan’, ‘Chaitanya’ etc. became the sole attraction during the event.
“Ardently do today what must be done. Who knows? – Tomorrow, death comes!”
Thousands of people got enlightened by the wisdom and Buddhist traits shared by the humble preachers. The program served the supreme purpose of disclosing that divine method – “Brahm Gyan” through which King Siddhartha turned into the Gautama Buddha.
