Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan in partnership with Women's Empowerment International Foundation, Canada, is successfully running Village Improvement Project in four villages of Bihar. In it's first phase, plant saplings were distributed to 120 women beneficiaries for their sustainable growth and revenue generation.
Next step is to provide Vitamin and other necessary supplements to the children of adopted villages. Henceforth, health camps are organized by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, Bihar in villages - Parsauni, Lokahi, Dhanoja, Sukhasan and Padampur. Dr. Vijay Kumar and Dr. Lalbahadur of Yuva Mandal Committee assisted in organising the camps.
Recently, during the camp in village Parsauni, Vitamin A tablets were distributed among children of 1-5 years of age group, while D-vorming pills was distributed to all the students. They were made conversant with the significance of these doses.
Nearly 180 children including students from Manthan-SVK at Parsauni and other village children were benefitted by this camp.
