Manthan SVK students participated in the inaugural ceremony of the most attractive event of all enthusiastic learners i.e World Book Fair 2016 with hundreds of students from various schools, held on 9th Jan 2016. All the bibliophiles, passionate, ardent of learning and desirous of knowledge have always been waiting for this book fair.
Many delegates from China, eminent authors and minister of HRD have come to make this ceremony more significant and complete. Smriti Irani was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony and her presence made the ceremony more remarkable. Manthan students' have presented an oration and group song in Sanskrit in Baal Madap, Children's pavilion, Hall No. 14. Students were so excited as they were showcasing their talents, exploring their interests and that too on a big and different platform.
Chief guest, Mr. Hrushikesh Senapaty, Director of NCERT, appreciated the social cause of DJJS towards the education and holistic development of underprivileged children. Children learnt a lot while visiting different stalls in the pavilion, read and purchased interesting books and enjoyed the remarkable exposure.
