Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) - a non-government, non-profit and a leading spiritual organization, head and founded by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized an event of Mata Ki Chowki on 2nd November 2017 in Amritsar, Punjab. Sadhvi Bhavarchana Bharti Ji, devoted disciple of revered Gurudev, was the spiritual discourser of the event.
The event commenced with the prayer at the lotus feet of Maa Durga. The organizers welcomed all guests, preachers, volunteers and audience. A series of melodious bhajans and songs tuned with devotional music tunes set the ambience into divine enlightenment.
Maa Bhagwati is worshipped in different forms all over the World. Sadhvi Ji described the history behind it. A very powerful band of lightening emerged from the mouths of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva and a young, beautiful female virgin with ten hands appeared. All the Gods gave their special weapons to her. This Shakti coalesced to form the Goddess Durga. Riding on a Lion who assisted her, Durga fought Mahishasura, the daemon. The battle raged for nine days and nights. Finally, on the tenth day of Ashwin Shukla Paksha, Mahishasura was defeated and killed by Maa Durga.
Sadhvi Ji reiterated that in the similar way, after the emergence of divine light provided by revered Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji in the form of ‘Brahm Gyan’, all the inner evils are killed if one practices Dhyan (Meditation), Sewa (Service) and attend Satsang (Divine Discourse). The event was celebrated at grand level, which was joyously attended by audience.
She emphasized that Man has been entangled in his own problems and tensions and ONLY ‘Brahm Gyan’ can uplift the human soul from the worldly issues. Only by activating the Divine Eye in each soul, the darkness of ignorance can be vanished. This process is actually called as Inner-Awakening. Sadhvi Ji reiterated the fact that Goddess resides in us. In order to reach, we need to become an insider, seeker towards our soul. The spiritual master of the time only can actuate our dormant energy by bestowing the Divine Eye through which one can explore the kingdom of lord within. It is the place from where the peace begins, a place where all Gods and goddesses resides and a place which takes one to Salvation. An event served its great purpose in awakening the people at the soul level towards the true way of spirituality.
