Despite all cosmetic embellishments, fame and riches, a man continues to lead a miserable life. A sense of fulfillment continues to elude him. Thus, to play soothing notes of peace and wisdom from the instrument named ‘Life’, it is essential to tune it through 'Satsangs (spiritual discourses)’. Satsang proves to be a great means for helping a disciple to nurture the characteristics of patience, understanding, prudence and wisdom. He gains the understanding that whatever challenges and troubles he has to face in his life, they will add to his growth and development only.
Like every month, this month also Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (“DJJS”) organized the Monthly Spiritual Congregation at Divya Dham Ashram located in Delhi on 2nd December, 2018. Large number of disciples gathered to gain the benefits of insightful wisdom bites to enhance their spiritual growth.
The orators aptly described the dire need of Satsang and Brahm Gyan (“Spiritual Knowledge”) in the lives of a disciple. The soul is a particle of divinity, immortal, conscious, untainted by maya, and blissful in nature. Such a soul has allowed itself to be dominated by maya and has been caught in its trap like a parrot and a monkey. We the humans, who were supposed to be the kings on planet earth but have deliberately chosen a life of slavery for ourselves– slavery to the world, slavery to the dictates of the mind, slavery to the sensual enjoyments.
The colour of the Supreme Lord enshrouds the entire cosmos. To witness the intensity of His colour, one needs to colour himself too in His colour. Even after gaining all the rare gifts and opportunities, the ability to tread steadfastly the path of spirituality, as explained in Holy Scriptures like the Vedas and the Shastras, is yet rarer.
The one, who walks steady on the path of bhakti following the directions of his spiritual mentor, will surely attain his spiritual goals. Thus, one who becomes fortunate to enrich his life with the invaluable jewel of the Supreme Lord, his heart will offer countless salutations in the lotus feet of his Master as he only cares for the disciple to the maximum, his guidance is supreme and his unconditional support is present at “all” times and in all phases of life. It is only through the regular meditation based on Brahm Gyan, a disciple can accelerate his spiritual growth and achieve his aim of life.
