In order to take the standard of life to the level of perfection, one needs to take into account some important factors. They are primarily- Our Choice of actions, Choice of Thoughts and Choice of Approach in dealing with the challenges confronting us. One has to be watchful of the actions he makes, the kind of thoughts he harbours in his mind and how he tackles with the situations coming before him. But without spiritual wisdom, we often fail to attain the ultimate quality of existence that we had come to adorn ourselves with.
In order to re-channelize the efforts of the disciples towards their eternal development, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (“DJJS”) organised the monthly spiritual congregation on 1st December, 2019 at Divya Dham Ashram, Delhi. The stage was set gracefully, the venue was filled with devotees and the ambiance was divine for the monthly event. The divinity of the soulful bhajans acted as a spontaneous manifestation of inner ecstasy.
The Preacher disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder – DJJS) quoted that “Life is not defined by how many years we live, but by the fact that how we live those years”. More than the quantity, it’s the quality of life that matters. Worldly happiness may attain its zenith or its nadir, but only the happiness gained from God stabilises our restless heart and brings peace to our tormented soul. Paramahansa Yogananda exclaims– “Mankind is engaged in an eternal quest for that "something else" he hopes will bring him happiness, complete and unending. But, for those individual souls who have sought and found God, the search is over: HE is that 'Something Else'.” Thus, rise above the idea of procrastinating worship of God and seriously consider reversing your priorities in life through spiritual enlightenment.
As a person with external vision can change his appearance to make it more appealing or can enhance his understanding, similarly an individual with internal vision, the divine eye, can change himself for the better. No one can persuade another to change. Each of us guards a gate of change that can only be opened from the inside. We cannot open the gate of another. Experience and determination is the sole key to unlock the gate of change. During the course of meditation on the internal light, spiritual growth also takes place. Once attuned with this powerhouse and the hub of virtues, a man enjoys a smooth ascend in the direction of improving the standard of life One develops the ability to shake off envy, greed, attachment, etc. because he views life with a broader vision - seeing beyond the pettiness, egotism, and over-extensive passions of this world.
Surrender unto the Guru completely and then leave the rest to Him. His power is unlimited and his existence is beyond time. It's only his guidance and mentorship that help one strike a right chord between different activities. Flowers blossom as soon as the sun rises. The sun does not tell the flowers to blossom. Similarly, by the mere presence of the Guru, the disciple’s progress takes place. A disciple too should make incessant efforts to take full advantage of this grace. Like a spiritual mother, he not just brings forth his disciple in the cosmic world of eternity, but also brings out the best in him. The Maharshi has said “A Guru will even go to Hell for the sake of His disciple”. This is only to give psychological support to the disciple. The Guru does not let His disciple commit mistakes which will land him in Hell. However, if he does commit mistakes, He allows the disciple to pay for them.
We need to traverse the journey from the “mind” to the “Soul.” For this constant practice and an attitude of renunciation is necessary. There is no other alternative. So, tune in to the divine frequency and catch the divine vibes in order to ornament your journey with an eternal camaraderie. At the end of the transcendent evening, the audience was fully engrossed and drenched by the words of sanguinity, a perfect platform for a new beginning. The event acted as the catalyst to kindle the spark of inner- devotion within the audience hearts and left the footprint of divine and spiritual journey in their mind.
